from: JohnThis is considered a health drink in Thailand; it's a very good coolant and cleanser. It also aids digestion.
Ingredients:
- 6-8 dried Bael fruit pieces
- 12-14 tbsps sugar
- 600 ml Water
Method of making Best Tahi Iced Tea:

- Boil the water in a pot, add Bael fruit and continue simmering for 15-20 minutes.
- Then, add sugar and stir. Remove it from heat once the sugar dissolves.
- It can be served both warm and cold. If you want to serve it cold, chill it in the fridge and serve over crushed ice, it is better to slightly over-sweeten it.
Note: Fresh Bael fruit is available to buy in most big local markets in the city and sachets of dried ones can be found in grocery stores that stock international ingredients.
