Malasiyan fish fry cooked using Banana leaf

Serves
2 Preparation -30 mins
- 250 grms Fish
- 1 Chopped onion
- 1
stick chopped - Lemon Grass
- 1 teaspoon Ginger Chopped -
- 4 nos Kafir
Leaves - 50 ml Oil
- 2 nos Green Chillies
- 1cup Tomato Puree
- 2 tsp Oyster
Sauce - 4 nos Kashmiri Chilli
- 4 nos Cracked Pepper
- 1 tea spoon Fish
Sauce
Method
Take oil in a pan
and sauté the green chillies & garlic. Add chopped onion & ginger and
fry till medium brown.

Sauce, cracked pepper, Fish sauce & Kashmiri Chilli. After frying make a
paste of the fried items in a food processor. Marinate the Bass with the paste
and wrap it in a banana leaf.
Tie the banana leaf with a thread and steam
it. Remove from steam and fry the fish with the banana leaf on both its
sides.
