Chinese Five spiced chicken winglets recipe with spicy powder, Mushroom

Cut of meat: chicken wings

Chef suggests: "After de-boning, the winglets become very thin. So this quick method of cooking is apt." 

 Ingredients:  
  • 800 gm chicken winglets
  • 200 ml plum sauce
  • 200 gm naan
  • ˝ cup spring onions (chopped)
  • 20 gm sesame seeds
  • 50 gm  carrot (julienne)
  • 10 gm coriander (chopped)
  • 50 gm spring onions (julienne)
  • 5 gm red chillies (chopped)
  • 10 gm coriander leaves
  • 10 ml sesame oil
  • 5 gm chives
  • 5 gm truffle
  • 10 gm five spice powder
  • 100 gm tomato (diced)
  • 30 gm arugula lettuce
  • 200 gm shitake mushroom.

Preparation Method: 

De-bone the winglets and marinate it with some five spice powder. Toss the winglet with some sesame oil till it's grilled thoroughly. Pan fry the spring onion with naan till crisp and golden brown. Arrange this pancake onto a plate and top with the chicken wings. Then, sprinkle the carrot, spring onions and coriander on it. Now remove the stalk from the shitake mushroom and top it with lettuce, diced tomatoes, chives and truffle. Arrange on the plate and serve it with some plum sauce mixed with the sesame seeds, coriander, red chillies and sesame oil.
