from: Clyde

Since ages, foods that serve as aphrodisiacs (in other words, ingredients that contain properties that up your spirits and libido), have found favour with lovers.

Seafood Alaska

Ingredients
  • 100 gm Mirepoix (onion, garlic, celery, leeks, carrots, bayleaf and peppercorns roughly chopped))
  • 100 gm prawn shells
  • 50 gm tomatoes
  • 50 gm tomato puree
  • 500 ml fish stock
  • 1 whole shrimp
  • 10 gm butter
  • 10 gm flour
  • 100 gm roux (mix together equal amounts of flour and butter to form a paste and then cooking it until it turns slightly brown)
  • 10 ml cream.

Method of Preparing Traditional french food & recipes using mirepoix (mire poix):

Melt the butter. Add the mirepoix and sauté well. Add the shells and sauté till light golden brown in colour. Mix in tomato puree, and quartered tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes.

Add fish stock and cook for about an hour on a medium flame. Strain and put it back on the flame. Add roux to the strained stock and cook for another five minutes. Finish by adding cream and garnish with a whole shrimp.

Sizzle factor
Zinc-dense shrimp increases fertility and makes pleasure points more responsive. They also contain stress-reducing amino acid and the feel-good hormone serotonin.
