Free gluten free foods Herbed Millet Stew

Serves: 2 & Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup millet grains (bajra/ragi)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 5 small garlic pods, kept unpeeled
  • 2 tsp dried mint leaves
  • 1 1/2 cups water


Preparation Method of gluten free foods Herbed Millet Stew

Place all ingredients in a medium-sized pan with 1 1/2 cups of water over high heat and bring to a boil.

Cover pan, reduce heat to low and cook for about 30 minutes, till millet grains have absorbed all the moisture and are tender. It's a good idea to check it after 20 minutes, as sometimes the millet cooks faster.
