Making of healthy mocktails recipes with pumpkin, beetroot, Carrot

from: Abrak

Heres how to jazz up the nutrition quotient of your regular starters and mocktails. It doesnt take much to turn your otherwise regular snacks and savouries into health foods. Use ingredients that  have immense benefits and you have a new dish that not only satisfies your taste buds, but finds approval with your doctor as well.
For instance, adding a bit of mint and basil to a routine mocktail ups its nutrition quotient greatly. Similarly, good ol parathas and theplas can be given a healthy twist simply by mixing certain flours. Check out some  easy-to-make recipes that can be ready in a jiffy.

 Preparation of Mocktails

Ingredients:
  • 100 gm white pumpkin
  • 50 gm of carrot
  • 50 gm of beetroot
  • 1 tbsp each khus
  • 1 tbsp of rose syrup
Preparation Method:

Cut the white pumpkin, carrot and beetroot in cubes. Blend them in a juicer and strain the juice. Stir in the khus and rose syrup. Garnish as you like in a martini glass.

How it helps:

A hugely beneficial drink, this cooler utilises some of the most revered vegetables in Ayurveda. The beetroot increases iron content immensely and is good for sharpening the brain. The carrot, apart from its vitamin A, gives you that feel-good, positive feeling. And dont worry, though the ingredients might not sound tempting,  the syrups will do the needful and also cool you down.
