Singapore Style - Chilli crab

Singapore Style - Chilli crab

Ingredients
  • 3 large crabs, cleaned and chopped (you can also use 1 kg prawn)
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 onion, finely chopped
  • 1-inch piece ginger, minced
  • 4 fresh red chilli, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 350 ml chicken stock or water
  • 1 tbsp corn flour mixed with a little water
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 5 tbsp oil
Cooking Directions

Heat

the oil and fry the slice chilli until golden. Add the garlic, onion
and ginger and stir fry for a while. Add the stock, tomato ketchup,
chilli sauce, salt and sugar and bring to a boil.

Add the
crabs, cover and cook until the crabs are cooked (turn pink). Mix in
the corn flour mixture to thicken. Add the eggs and mix. Serve before
the eggs harden, with bread.
