Christmas champagne cake

Christmas is here! A time of the year when baking cakes
and cookies, whipping up desserts and roasting turkeys is the order of the day
In keeping with the festive spirit, we share with you an exclusive
chef-recommended cake recipe that will be a perfect culmination to your
Christmas meal The recipe is a delight for champagne lovers and a pleasant
surprise for frosting aficionados. Just bake and share with friends!



Christmas champagne cake



Ingredients:



  • Buvee champagne or any class champagne -750 ml
  • Egg yolks - 40 No.
  • Castor sugar -700 gm
  • Gelatine - 60 gm
  • Rich cream – 2 kg











Method:



Beat egg yolks with castor sugar till it gets nice and
fluffy. Add champagne and then add melted gelatine. Take cream, add sugar and
whip it till it gets tough and fold in the whipped cream. Shape it as per
requirement. The final product would be almost 5 kg.
