Pasta Recipe or Tagliatelle recipes with Mushrooms and Mint

You have a party coming up.You want to impress your friends and/or colleagues. But you just don't have the time to prepare an elaborate dinner.

Here's help. Get Ahead presents recipes that are simple, easy-to-make and, what's more, can be made in 20 minutes. All you have to do is be prepared with the ingredients!

If you want to show off, enjoy these dishes with a cool Martini, a glass of white wine or even a glass of beer. If you don't care for alcohol, go for fresh lemon juice!

TAGLIATELLE A FUNGH E MENTA (Fresh pasta with mushrooms and mint)

Ingredients
  • 400 gm fresh pasta
  • 250 gm mushrooms, of mixed variety, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 50 gm mint leaves
  • 8 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Red hot chillies (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste



Making of Pasta Recipe (Tagliatelle Recipe)
  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan. Add the crushed garlic and red hot chillies (optional). Saute till brown. Take care not to let the garlic burn.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms.
  3. Add salt and pepper and saute for a few more minutes.
  4. Add white wine and cook till the wine is reduced to half its quantity.
  5. Cook the pasta in hot, boiling, salted water. Take care not to overcook.
  6. Drain the pasta. Add to the mushroom sauce and sauté for a few more minutes.
  7. Add a spoonful of water in case the pasta is very dry.
  8. Spray with Parmesan cheese and extra virgin olive oil.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint.
