Recipe : Cooking with Foil | Beef Carrot Stew

from: Samuelson Bone

Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef (uncooked)
1 chopped onion
1 chopped or sliced green pepper
12- 15 baby carrots
3 sliced stalks of celery
3 cubed or sliced potatoes
1 cup of sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper
2 Tblsp. Water
Seasonings of choice

Foil Cooking :

Place 6 large rectangle of foil in front of you. In the middle of each, crumble one third of a pound of uncooked ground beef. Top each with desired amounts of the above vegetables and seasonings. Sprinkle each dinner with 1 teaspoon of water. Bring the edges of the foil together and fold. Fold each end, pinching to seal. Place dinners on hot coals (not the flames) for about 20 minutes, checking occasionally. Eat right out of the foil. You can also top with ketchup or BBQ sauce.
