Bread Recipes Bread Fritters South Indian

- 3 to 4 slices of bread
- 1/2 tbsp ginger-chilly paste
- 1 sprig curry leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped (optional)
- 1 onion, chopped
- Chilly powder (if needed)
- 1 tbsp gram flour
- 1 tsp rice flour or cornflour (optional)
- Ajwain seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Soak the bread in a cup of water for a minute.
- Then pick the bread, squeeze the water out completely and put it in a dry bowl.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix properly without adding any water. If the dough is too dry and crumbles, you can add a little hot oil to bind it.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Drop spoonfuls of the dough in the oil and deep fry the fritters till they are golden brown.
- Serve hot, with chutney or sauce.
