How to Make catfish fillets recipes, Fresh Fish with tartare sauce
from: scottest Ingredients:
- 500 gm pomfret
- 15 gm seasoned flour
- 30 gm bread crumbs
- 555 gm refined oil to fry
- 1 egg
- 5 gm capers
- 5 gm gherkins
- 1 sprig of parsley
- 10 gm shallots
- 5 gm white pepper powder
- 100 gm mayonnaise
Method of making Catfish Fillets Recipes:

Clean and fillet the pomfret. Wash with fresh water and marinate with lime juice, salt and pepper powder for 15 to 20 minutes. Pat dry and dust with seasoned flour. Coat with beaten eggs and bread crumbs, and deep fry.
Tartare sauce:
Finely chop capers, gherkins, shallots and parsley. Mix well with mayonnaise. Adjust seasoning. Pour chilled over golden fried fillets of fish.
Master Chef tip:
Use a very sharp knife to fillet and start with the thicker, fleshier portion of the fish and cut in long strokes.
