How to make Prawns in Green Vegetables Stir fry Indian recipes
from: Vazenecio Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Bengali panch phoren (a mixture of equal parts whole cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, black onion seeds and fennel seeds)
- 500g raw tiger prawns - de-veined
- 500g baby spinach - roughly chopped
- Leaves of 3 radishes - roughly chopped (optional)
- 1 small white cabbage - roughly chopped
- A pinch of sugar Salt to taste
Preparation of Stir Fried Prawns in Green Vegetables
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the Bengali panch phoren until it darkens slightly. Add the prawns until they turn pink. Add the spinach, radish leaves and cabbage, cover the pan and steam-cook for 10 minutes. Season with some salt and sugar. Allow to cook until water from the vegetablesreduces.
